3. Brain Intercept Scan Results
Green is good…. Red is bad
June 23rd
I had not given much thought to the results of my brain imaging. It had been a whirlwind of a week at work and new baby was keeping everyone busy. I was a little excited as I arrived at the appointment and I thought it was fascinating to see what my brain was doing.
Dr. Hart was very kind and he really took the time to go over my scan results in a simple, understandable way.
He started by saying that there was something going on with my brain and I had a lot of neuro inflammation. There was a lot of over activity in certain parts of my brain and under activity in other areas so my my brain was not functioning in a coherent way.
This all started to freak me out a little bit so I took a few deep breaths tried to real it in. Dr. Hart proceeded to explain that I have what is called a brain on fire or an over active brain.
Wow! OK, did not expect any of this but here we are so my question is how do we deal with it what can I do?
I got a long list of supplements, lifestyle suggestions, dietary suggestions and a lot of good information on ways to approach the issue with a follow up in 6-8 weeks.
This was a big day with a lot of information and it was time to share it with my family so I told my husband and my sister and the journey began.
